Clicking on screen sends me to Microsoft store, where I found and downloaded a canon print driver - which also does NOT work. Plugged printer in to USB port, turned printer on, does not show up in devices or on desktop. Devices list only printer drives as XPS, print to PDF, one note -NONE of which will print hard copies, to say that they "print" is idiotic, they only import data digitally - "print" means to print a piece of paper. I plug in the brand new Dell DVD/ROM drive that I bought with the brand new Dell Inspiron laptop, insert included Cyberlink installation disk in drive, the drive makes whirring sound and nothing else happens, no dvd drive appears in devices, on task bar, nada.
Thanks, but there is not even an icon for my printer listed in devices. Volunteers, on a public forum for help with technical issues. It sure would be nice if Microsoft had some kind of customer support, so we didn't all have to beg from big hearted
